So it's official, Elina graduated from her first year of preschool--what an accomplishment!!! She has loved every second of it and really seems to soak up all that she is learning. She can write her name, knows all her letters (uppercase and most of the lowercase) written and knows the sounds, she knows how to write her numbers and letters, and she started to read by the end of the year. I'm so proud of all her hard work and her desire to learn. The one thing we have to work on is her being comfortable being up in front of people. She almost refused to go sit with her class in front of all the parents, and refused to participate in their program of singing songs for the parents. I'm not sure how to get her past it--she seems to be nervous that "everyone will look at me". But regardless, her reward was getting to drive Miss Nicole's rover all by herself with daddy's supervision. Nice job babe!!!
