Mortensen family reunion

We had so much fun at our reunion this year--it was the mortensen reunion on my side not my husbands...see if you can figure that one out. We went tubing, tossed bread slices to these massive trout, played ping pong, played grass vb--and just had a great time. Love you family!!!

A big kudos and thanks to our cousin Brandon for putting on a dinner to practice his culinary skills before heading off to school...The food was awesome, the atmosphere divine :), and then great friends to top off the night with. Gotta love it.

Elli's summer of fun

So far Elli's summer consists of getting her first visit from the tooth fairy, meeting cinderella at the stake fair, swimming at gma's a lot, and going on a fun hike. :)

ty's swim lessons

Despite a little setback on the 4th/5th lesson Ty did great...and now he can touch the bottom of gma's pool and has gotten is doing really great.

We miss you Helen

Although this happened a while ago, it's too bad we waited to have a girls night out until we had to say goodbye to one of our dear friends!! Helen we love you and miss you and wish you the best!!

It looks like Elli actually has the hang of jump rope, but trust me--we are still working on it
