I love that they built in this little children's play area under the stairs--it is the big hit whenever anyone comes to play--we love visitors, so come on over!!!
Here's our backyard--I love the privacy, you can see the neighbors back up the hill aways. We still don't have anyone to either side of us, but I did meet the neighbor across the street finally--but only by running outside to introduce myself when I saw her shoveling her driveway :) what a goober I am. There are also two running trails right by the house, which I'm dying to make use of--as soon as this blasted cold wheather lightens up a bit.

Due to public demand :) I've taken, and am actually posting :) more pics of the house. We truly feel blessed to be where we are and feel like we are supposed to be here. I can't help but feel a little spoiled that we were able to find everything we've been looking for and more!!! Enjoy the pics

Here's a better shot of the kitchen, you can see the half bath out there behind it, and the laundry room is back there also. I'm not really showing the dining room, because our card table doesn't quite do it justice :) Grandpa Mortensen's sweet table that we had before broke in the move, so now it's time to go shopping :) Once that is put into place--we'll be ready for some real parties :)
I finally have a double oven!!! For all the amazing bread I've been making--forever thank you to Mindy!!! The nice empty space is for our refridgerator which we've ordered and is in transit. Hopefully it won't be too much longer that I have to truck out to the garage to get to a refidgerator :)
I love the detail work in the master ceiling--and this picture doesn't really show the space, but I'm loving it.
I never thought I'd be able to say this, but I actually fit in my tub. Never thought that would happen in a million years :) In the mirror you can maybe make out the tile that goes to a walk in shower--so nice and very nicely done. The detail that they put into this home is so beautiful, and we love it!!

So here's a few more pics of the new house. I don't know that it shows the open space that well, but that is what we absolutely love about it. We moved from 1700 sq feet to a lot more, so everything else in the house is just so empty compared to the space we now have that it seems some of the other pics would just be funny, but there is a play area under the stairs that the kids just love. I'll get that on here eventually. :)

Our New Home

So here is the first official photo of our new home, taken by my father while we were in Texas. I promise to try and upload some pics of the inside, but this gives you a small idea. We are definitely loving it, but missing what we left around us in our previous, first, home. Definitely some great friends and memories!!! At least blogging is a good way to keep up with friends, right? More pics to come.

A Big Shoutout Thankyou!!!!

So now it's official. We have moved--and we love where we are at!! Yet it is still bitter sweet because of the neighborhood and friends we left behind. We love you!!! We just got the internet up and running, so I am finally able to say thank you so much to everyone that came and helped with the move. We had so much support and help that it made the whole process less overwhelming. Pictures of the house are still to come, but now, once again, I need to find my camera :)

Grammy and Pappa got a Wii for Christmas--Elina is kicking her daddy's trash in boxing!!!

Christmas!!!

Santa found us all the way in Texas and paid us a very special visit. Maybe next year the kids won't be scared to death of him!!
Elina's baby doll was the highlight--she took that baby in her lap wherever we went, even on the airplane ride home
Owen and Tyler were like twins with their Christmas pj's. I got asked a few times if there were twins, and all I could think was could you imagine. So to my friends that have twins or that are having twins--all I can say is WOW!!!

Uncle Johnny's birthday was Sunday Dec 21, so we had a big party for him Saturday night.
Sunday we had a mini-Christmas with Mummo and Pappa...

Then up early early to catch a 6:00 am flight to Texas!!

I guess it is time for a haircut when Grammy decides your hair is long enough for a total mohawk!!!
